What excites me the most is driving company growth, and expanding market penetration. My investment thesis includes accelerating innovation in the areas of FoodTech, Robotics, Aviation AI Automation, and Renewable Energy AI Management. Most recently, I have found my passion supporting startups as an angel investor and startup advisor. This is a natural evolution of my years a startup founder, and individual technical contributor. At the core, I'm a strategist meticulously focused on creating data driven GTM plans, and product launches that generate leads, but I'm also a marketing content writer. Among my accomplishments, I'm particularly proud of increasing revenue in high double digits YoY while I served as field marketer — constantly traveling around the world evangelizing technical products. This forged me into a “Marketer of Steel,” being able to maintain an energetic attitude during periods of intense work. However, becoming an angel investor is what makes most proud, because it integrates all my skills: technical, business, financial, communication, and relationship building, into a unified purpose, namely, generating revenue through the support of innovation.
Today, I guide a wide range of technical and business startup teams to establish effective messaging and positioning for their brand & products. My experience encompasses AI, Blockchain, IoT, telecommunications, networking, video processing, digital music, health telemetry, power management and consumer electronics. In each domain I focus on increasing awareness, leads and revenue, but what I love most now is working on marketing strategy for AI, SaaS and Blockchain solutions, because these technologies are changing our world in unprecedented ways, and their role in society is still evolving, hence, marketing these solutions is evolving in parallel — rapidly, and in unexpected directions, giving rise to advertising creativity and new means to generate leads and revenue. Beyond investments and marketing, I like to do graphic design and photography. I combine these two hobbies with my travel bug to document places on my google maps and photo blog accounts. Whenever I travel, I like to go swimming or running to burn excess calories from the tasty vegetarian dishes I try wherever I go. I am fluent in English and Spanish, but when possible, I use French and very limited Japanese to communicate.
